Founded in 1987 Azor lodge received their first official visit from a current Provincial Grand Master when RW Bro. Ian Chandler visited the Lodge on Friday 25th November at Farnham Masonic Hall.

The Provincial Grand Master entered the Lodge with his Provincial Escort and an escort of senior Lodge Officers. Azor Lodge is a thriving busy Lodge with 54 members and meeting six times a year with a well-attended weekly Lodge of Instruction.

There is a steady flow of candidates ensuring that there are always ceremonies to perform.  Somewhat rare these days all the progressive offices are filled by Master Masons with the exception of the Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Chris Anderson, who ceased being a Master Mason when he was installed in February this year. R.W. Bro. Ian Chandler and his escorting officers enjoyed a Third Degree ceremony with the Raising of Bro. Jeremy Campbell-Harris.

The Worshipful Master generously shared the ceremony with Past Master W.Bro. George Burke and Past Master W.Bro. Nigel Worsfold who gave a fine presentation of the Traditional History.

After the conclusion of the ceremony the Provincial Grand Master gave a short address to Bro. Jeremy Campbell-Harris and warmly congratulated him on being raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason.

A donation of £500 to the 2019 Festival was approved by the members.  The Provincial Grand Master gave sincere thanks to the members for their generosity. In the Second Rising the Provincial Grand Master addressed the members of the Lodge and congratulated them on maintaining such a successful Lodge and on the standard of ritual performed.

The Provincial Grand Master commented that it was a particular treat for him to see quite a number of former colleagues present.  There followed an excellent meal at a lively and enjoyable Festive Board with a supportive and encouraging speech from the Provincial Grand Master all which rounded off a highly successful and memorable evening for all.
