My name is Guan Hwang.
I live in Bracknell with my wife, Hilary.
We have two grown-up boys, one working in London and the other at university.
I enjoy reading and running.
I joined a lodge in Sutton in 1991 and following a 5 year spell working abroad in Singapore, returned and eventually became Master of the lodge in 2003.
In my early years in Freemasonry, I counted myself fortunate to have met and formed strong friendships with the great bunch of masons in my lodge.
As a Past Provincial Steward in both the Craft and Royal Arch, I assist in the wide range of events organised by the Province.
Through these activities my circle of like-minded friends expanded to include Masons from other lodges.
I am very pleased to have had the chance to join freemasonry; it has been and continues to be, a major source of enjoyment for me.
Many of my close friends now are Freemasons and my continued participation enables me to interact regularly with them, and provides the opportunity to form new friendships with Masons I have yet to meet.
